PROPERTIES

Adecon is an effective ADE injectable solution for the prevention and treatment of vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E deficiencies. Adecon contains the right vitamin sources to guarantee good efficacy and stability. An amber-coloured vial protects the vitamins from exposure to light. After injection, the vitamins are quickly and completely absorbed and, in addition to a rapid therapeutic effect, they also have a long-lasting action. Vitamin A is essential for the regeneration of skin and mucous membranes.
It plays an important role in the protection of epithelial tissues and, therefore, as a defense against infections. Given its important metabolic role, vitamin A influences growth, stimulates ovulation and ensures normal function of the reproductive system.
Vitamin D favours calcium absorption and fixation and facilitates regular calcium-phosphorous metabolic processes. It improves bone development in young animals, lowers nervous system excitability and exerts a systemic eutrophic action.
Vitamin E is the most important lipid-soluble antioxidant, it protects cell membranes from oxidation by reacting with radicals produced in lipid peroxidation chain reactions. It is essential for cell metabolism and for normal liver and muscle function.

INDICATIONS

For use as a supplemental nutritive source of vitamins A, D and E. Prevention and therapy of specific vitamin deficiencies (rickets, delayed growth, muscular dystrophy and night blindness). As an adjuvant in pregnant females, to prevent abortion and teratogenic alterations.
