Registration and microchipping for camels participating in the Al-Tahaddi Festival for Mafarid have officially begun at Lbusayyir and Al Shahaniya, marking the start of the 2025–2026 season. The process runs until November 8 and includes all major camel categories. The festival will feature 21 rounds with 210 prizes—five of them cars—drawing strong participation from Qatar and across the GCC.
The fourth local camel racing championship for the 2025–2026 season opened at Al Sheehaniya and Lbusayyir tracks with strong participation. The 11-day event began with 24 Hagayeg races, where “Ghand” won the main female race and “Sharhan” topped the male race. The championship continues with more Hagayeg rounds, highlighting Qatar’s enduring heritage in camel racing.
The sixth round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab (Season 9) concluded with strong performances across the Diamond, Bronze, and Future Riders categories. Mohammed Saeed Haidan won the Diamond Tour, while Khalid Al Hadi led the Bronze Tour, and Khalifa bin Jowan bin Hamad Al Thani topped the Future Riders class with an impressive time.
