The Qatari Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has announced that the State of Qatar has won first place among the best countries for its commitment to implementing the Convention to Combat International Illicit Trade in Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora. It also published through its official account - on Twitter, and on the occasion of World Wildlife Day - that Qatar participates among five other Arab countries as a party to this agreement, which urges the preservation of wild animals and plants and gives them an opportunity to reproduce out of the threat of extinction.
