What is Cortinol?
cortinol is an anti-inflammatory drug, for use in animals, in the form of injections for subcutaneous, intramuscular or intra-articular injection.
Copmosition:
Cortinol anti inflammatory is composed of:
Each 100ml of the drug contains 0.6g (600mg) of triamcinolone acetonide.
Each bottle (20 ml) contains 120 mg of triamcinolone acetonide.
Dosage form:
Cortinol treatment for animals is a 20ml-bottle, contains 120mg of triamcinolone acetonide.
How to take the medicine:
Cortinol is used for subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intra-articular injection.
The difference between Cortinol anti-inflammatory and Cortinol P injection:
Cortinol anti-inflammatory injection contains 600 mg of triamcinolone acetonide, while Cortinol P injection contains 7.5 mg of prednisolone and 2.5 mg of dexamethasone.

What should you know before using cortinol Injection?
You should consult your doctor before using the drug.
Do not use Cortinol Injection if the animal is allergic to any component of the drug.
Indications:
Cortinol injection is used in some cases of inflammation, as it is used in the following areas:

Anti-allergic for allergic reactions.

Anti-inflammatory for rheumatoid arthritis.

In cases where treatment with steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is required.
Dosage:
The veterinarian should be consulted and told about everything related to the animal's condition in order for him to prescribe the appropriate dosage.
Cortinol is injected intramuscular, subcutanious, or intraarticular in the following recommended doses:
Single dose: 1 ml per 30-60 kg of body weight (equivalent to 0.1 - 0.2 mg of active ingredient per kg of body weight)
The dose is repeated after 15 days, or as directed by the veterinarian.
Cortinol Dosage for Bovine:
Ketosis: Every 48 hours as needed
Total dose for skin disorders: 1.7-5 ml.
Arthritis and bone diseases: 1.7 - 3.7 ml.
Cortinol Dosage for Horses:
Fungal infection: 5 ml every 10 days (3 times);
Arthritis and bone disorders: 1.7-3.7 ml.
Dermatosis: 1.7-5 ml as a total dose.
Contraindications:
Consult your veterinarian for warnings and precautions to take before using cortinol Injection.
Do not use Cortinol Injection if the animal is allergic to any component of the drug.
Avoid using the drug in the following cases without consulting a specialist doctor:

In cases of pregnant females.

Gastrointestinal ulcer cases.

Viral and bacterial infections, and deep fungal infections,

General bone diseases (osteoporosis) and chronic arthritis.

Diabetic.

Pancreatitis.

Renal failure.

Amyloid liver disease.

Chronic colon infection.
