Composition
Phenylbutazone 20 g.
Excipients qs 100 ml.
Indications
It is indicated in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other acute and chronic inflammatory processes of the locomotor system or of any other origin and location.
Slow IV route of administration.
Dosage
Equine and adult bovine: 10-20 ml. daily. Foals and calves: 2-10 ml. daily.
Withdrawal Period
Do not slaughter bovine animals treated until 21 days after the last treatment. Do not administer in horses whose meat is intended for human consumption. Do not administer in dairy companies whose milk is intended for human consumption.
Observations
As it is a very powerful drug, the objective of treatment should be the short-term relief of severe symptoms with the lowest possible dose. If a favorable response is not observed within a week, discontinue treatment. Use carefully in pregnant females or animals weakened by other diseases.
