Kendactin 3 in 1 Oral Paste is used to control infections caused by the gastrointestinal tract, lung and skin

Intestinal parasites: Strongylus vulgaris, edentatus, and equinus. Trichostrongylus axis., Strongyloides western., Oxyuris Equi.,

Parascaris equorum., Gasterophilus spp., Rhinoestrus purpureus., Draschia megastoma., Anoplocephala perfoliata.

Anoplocephala magna., Echinococcus granulosus., Oesophagodontus Robustus., Craterostomum acuticaudatum., Parafilariamultipapillosa., Halicephalobus gingivalis., Dictyocaulus arnfieldi., Triodontophorus., Cylicocilus in horses.

Dosage and method of use:

The recommended dose is 1 gram of product/40 kg of weight, which is equivalent to:

Ivermectin 250 mcg/kg weight;

Praziquantel 1.87 mg/kg weight &

Fenbendazole 5.6 mg/kg weight.

To ensure the correct dose is administered, the body weight and the correct syringe must be determined as accurately as possible

The department was chosen, as low doses may lead to an increased risk of developing resistance to anthelmintic drugs.

The syringe should be set to the calculated dose by placing the ring in the appropriate place on the piston.

The syringe contains 20 g of paste and provides enough paste to treat 800 kg of body weight at the recommended dose rate.

Instructions for use:

For oral use.

Before administration, adjust the syringe to the calculated dose by placing the ring on the plunger. The paste is given orally

By inserting the syringe nozzle into the space between the teeth and applying the required amount of paste to the back of the tooth.

Tongue. The animal's mouth should be free of any food. Immediately after administering the medication, raise the horse's head a few times

seconds to ensure the dose is swallowed. The veterinary surgeon should advise regarding appropriate dosing programs and stock management to achieve sufficient

Parasite control for both tapeworm and roundworm infestations.

Targeted categories:

horses

Pharmacological properties:

Therapeutic group:

Endocides, ivermectin, combinations

Pharmacodynamics:

Ivermectin is a derivative of macrocyclic lactone that has broad-spectrum antiparasitic activity against nematodes and arthropods. Powered by

Inhibition of nerve impulses. Their mode of action involves glutamate-gated chloride ion channels. Ivermectin binds selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-binding chloride ion channels that occur in nerve and muscle cells in invertebrates. This leads to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions with hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cell, leading to paralysis and death of the related parasites. Compounds of this class may also interact with other ligand-gated chloride channels, such as those secreted by the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The margin of safety for compounds of this class is This is due to the fact that mammals do not have glutamate-gated chloride channels. Praziquantel is a pyrazinoisoquinoline derivative that exerts its anthelmintic activity against many species of tapeworms and trematodes. It works primarily by impairing the motility and function of the tapeworm suckers. Its mode of action involves impairing neuromuscular coordination but also affecting the permeability of the skin envelope.

Worms, leading to excessive loss of calcium and glucose. This leads to spastic paralysis of the parasitic muscles. Fenbendazole is an anthelmintic drug that belongs to the benzimidazole-carbamate group. It works by interfering with the energy metabolism of nematodes. The anthelmintic affects adult and immature stages of gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes. This anthelmintic efficacy depends on inhibition of tubulin polymerization into microtubules.

Pharmacokinetics:

After administration of the recommended dose to horses, peak plasma ivermectin was reached within 24 hours. the

The ivermectin concentration remained above 2 ng/mL 14 days after administration. The elimination half-life of ivermectin was 90 hours. the

The elimination half-life of praziquantel was 40 minutes. Fenbendazole and its metabolites are eliminated primarily via the feces.

Warnings and precautions:

• Wear gloves during application. Wash hands well after use.

• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling this product.

• Do not use on horses intended for human consumption.

• Assess body weight as accurately as possible before calculating the dose.

• Heavy use or misuse of anthelmintics can lead to resistance. Consult your veterinarian for assistance with diagnosis,

Treatment and control of parasites.

• In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water
