Use Killitch as a preventive measure in the spring, before the first midges appear, then you will get the best results.
Application:
Treat the affected areas by gently rubbing in the lotion in with a soft cloth (or with your fingers). Initial application should be done twice a day, then reduced to once a day and finally down to 3-4x a week. All the affected areas should be thoroughly shampooed and rinsed at least once a week.
For horses that suffer from severe itching, it is recommended to use Killitch in the spring before the symptoms appear.
